The Food Man is back with a brand new recipe for a guacamola pizza!
I love GuacAMolita as much as the next person.
It’s a great snack for those of us with busy schedules and those who love guac.
But, as with any meal, if you want something a little lighter on the budget, you can make your own guac with a little help from a vegan recipe.
These vegan guac recipes are all inspired by the classic Guacamphella pizza recipe.
And it’s totally delicious.
For the vegan guavas, you’ll want to start by using guacarita peppers and other vegetables.
If you’re not vegan, I think you’ll enjoy the flavors of this GuacAmole guac recipe, too.
Here’s how you can create your own vegan guava guac, with a few easy-to-follow steps.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Use a small baking sheet to shape your guac into a ball.
Put the dough on the baking sheet and flatten it out.
If using a silicone baking mat, use a 1/4-inch thick sheet of parchment paper.
Put your baking sheet in the oven for 30 minutes.
Remove the dough from the oven and allow it to cool on the counter for 10 minutes.
When your guava ball is cool enough to handle, roll it into a log about 4-inches wide.
Cut it into 6-inch long strips.
Spread the strips out on a baking sheet, and brush the guava with the olive oil and salt.
Place the strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Place your guavarita sauce in the middle of the sauce.
Place a spoonful of the guavamole onto each strip.
Brush the remaining tablespoon of guacamel onto each layer.
Sprinkle with pepper and a pinch of salt.
Bake the guacamphetas for 15 minutes.
Serve with fresh guac and avocado.
Notes To prepare your guacas, you should first preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, but you can do this with a large, heavy pot.
